On Saturday, 27th April at 4 p.m. we would like to invite you to a Service Celebrating the the opening of our Chapel 150 years ago and the founding of the congregation 200 years ago. The address will be given by Rev Jim Corrigall, a former Minister at Padiham Unitarian Chapel and now the London District Minister.
After the service a traditional tea will be served in the main hall/school room. We need to know how many are coming to plan the catering. Please email padiham150anniv@gmail.com - please also let us know of any special dietary requirements.
We will be open during the following times
There will be four digital exhibitions running in the Chapel - during these times refreshments will be available in the Centenary school room (built 100 years ago).
The Chapel has an amazing archive from the 200 years of its existence and the 150 years since our current chapel was opened. The exhibitions will be: The History of Padiham in the past 200 years - The History of Unitarianism in Padiham over the past 200 years - Unitarianism explained - The Chapel for children.
